Caitlyn Jenner Claims O.J. Simpson Told Nicole Brown Simpson “I’ll Kill You And Get Away With It”

Published

Caitlyn Jenner has shared her insight on who she believes is responsible for Nicole Brown Simpson’s passing. She claims that O.J. Simpson is “obviously” who murdered Nicole back in 1994. Caitlyn said that Nicole told ex-wife Kris Jenner that O.J. would “kill her and get away with it.”

She was not clear on when exactly Kris relayed the information, but shared the story during an appearance on the reality show ‘Big Brother VIP’ based in Australia. After a castmate initiated the conversation about the O.J. Simpson trial, Caitlyn flat out accused O.J. of committing the murders.

“Obviously he did it and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, ‘I’ll kill you and get away with it because I’m O.J. Simpson,” Caitlyn said. “Then Nicole, you know, relayed that onto Kris at one point and unfortunately she was right.”

Caitlyn’s Connection To O.J.

Caitlyn was married to Kris at the time of Nicole’s death. Kris allegedly shared a relationship with both Nicole and O.J., who were married between 1985 and 1992. Caitlyn told castmates on the show that Nicole’s passing and the subsequent trial made it a “very difficult time” for their family.

“It was an extraordinarily difficult time,” Caitlyn said. “Nicole was Kris’ best friend. Had been for a long time.”

According to Newsweek, Kris’ ex-husband and father to her Kardashian children, Robert Kardashian Sr. worked on a team of lawyers representing O.J. Police named him the prime suspect in the murders of Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman. O.J. insisted on his innocence throughout the high-profile trial.  The justice system eventually acquitted him for the double-murders. . In 1997, the court found him liable for the deaths in a civil case presented by the victims’ families.

Caitlyn also shared that she visited Nicole’s home just two days before her death. She didn’t give further insight on the state of things during said visit. However, she detailed Kris’ immediate reaction following the initial verdict.

“We were at the courthouse. We’re watching what’s going on in the other room, and even after the not guilty verdict, the first thing Kris turns around to me and goes, ‘We should have listened to Nicole,” Caitlyn said. “She was right right from the beginning.’”

Broadway iconStephen Sondheim has died.

According to media reports published on Friday, the acclaimed longtime lyricist, composer, and musical theater legend passed away peacefully at his Connecticut home on Friday, after celebrating Thanksgiving with friends just one day earlier.

The musical theater legend and longtime impacter of everything Broadway-related was 91 years old at the time of his death.

His lawyer,F. Richard Pappas, first confirmed Sondheim’s sad passing to theNew York Times earlier on Friday.

Sondheim was beyond well-known in the musical community around New York and elsewhere, and long considered one of the most important people in the musical theater world. Of course, he wrote the music and lyrics for several beloved shows, includingInto The Woods andSweeney Todd. He also penned the lyrics for other musicals likeGypsy andWest Side Story, the latter of whichSteven Spielberg has adapted into a new film that is due out in December.

In his life and incredible career, Sondheim earned eightTony Awards, including aLifetime Achievement Award back in 2008. He also received eightGrammy Awards, and anOscar for Best Original Song. He infamously said that it was “awfully nice to win one” after accepting one of his first Tonys during the 1971 awards show.

Broadway stars and other talented celebs have taken to social media to reflect on Sondheim’s legacy and comment on his passing throughout the day on Friday. The actressAriana DeBose, who will star as Anita in Spielberg’s upcoming adaptation ofWest Side Story for the silver screen, wrote on the social network (below):

“I am at a loss. Feels like the end of an era. He did indeed set the standard for the American musical. Rest well, sir.”

Fellow Tony Award winnerLea Salonga further shared grief reflecting Sondheim’s passing, writing:

“Rest In Peace, Stephen Sondheim, and thank you for your vast contributions to musical theater. We shall be singing your songs forever. Oh, my heart hurts”

No kidding.

ActorJosh Gad added his own thoughts about the tragic passing, writing:

“Perhaps not since April 23rd of 1616 has theater lost such a revolutionary voice. Thank you Mr. Sondheim for your Demon Barber, some Night Music, a Sunday in the Park, Company, fun at a Forum, a trip Into the Woods and telling us a West Side Story. RIP.”

So well said. And so sad.

Our hearts go out to Sondheim’s family, friends, and loved ones as they work through their grief in the aftermath of this sad news.

Rest In Peace…
